In Brunei, everywhere we go. Every Kampong we enter and every Simpang we pass by, the words "KEDAI RUNCIT" is what we always see! Almost everywhere there are kedai runcit for everyone convenience that people don't have to travel up far to shopping complex or supermarket to buy satu gantang of bawang merah! hahaha.
And so coincidence that this things run out of stock at the middle of the night and shops in Brunei closed at around 9:30 - 10:00PM. No worries because Kedai Runcits open till late night and there is no embarrassment while paying at the counter. ;p
While traveling in Labuan, instead of kedai runcit that provides convenient services. DUTY-FREE SHOPs are the one! By the time we got out from the port, Duty-Free shops right in front of it.
Every where I pass by, I saw duty-free!
Every shop houses, every roads, every junctions, every corners we can see DUTY-FREE!!!
These two are the Duty-Free Shops that we can see right after we get out from the Labuan Port main entrance.
Duty-Free mean tax free that there aren't tax charges which mean things are more CHEAPER!!! And duty-free shops don't sell cheap Coca-Cola. They sell MABUK-KOLA!!!
Jack Daniels! They all offer wide ranges of choices for the customer. Kuala Lurah is like kedai runcit of alcohol and Labuan is the shopping complex of alcohol!
That they sells products from many countries which includes Japan.
London...
Sweden...
Australia...
And I don't know where.
All these above can get us...
AFTER SHOCK!!!
When you think Alcohol is not the happiness, there are other happiness founded in Labuan too.
Duty-Free Shops also sell CHOCOLATES.
Tons of Chocolates.
For chocolate lover, Labuan is one of the place that you should visit because you find your happiness here!

From what I had experienced, it's one small town that it does offer things which we don't see in Brunei too! For the least Labuan does have SUPER KICK-ASS BIG SIZE LOLLIPOPS!

I got myself these... Now I can ONE-GO drinking one bottle of liquor!
